Summer School

Summer school is provided free of charge for students who qualify for remediation in the areas of reading and mathematics.  The middle summer school program offers students enrolled in grades 6-8 opportunities to improve basic skills through remediation and enrichment activities using individual and small group instruction.  The remedial program is aligned with the school year curricula and complements what is taught during the school year.

Although transportation will be provided, it may not be the same as transportation provided during the school year.  Classes are held from 7:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. from Tuesday, July 5, 2016 through Friday, July 22, 2016.

Letters and registration forms were sent home to all students who are eligible for free summer school.  Registration forms must be completed and returned to school by Friday, June 3, 2016.

If you have any questions regarding your child's summer school eligibility, please contact their school counselor.
